BTA DrillingBTA Drilling technique is associated with Boring and Trepanning Association from where this drilling method was originated. This type of deep hole drilling process is executed in presence of high pressure coolant. A drill head which is fitted with the end of hollow type drill tube is used during this drilling. The deal head has threaded structure and it is capable of using various cutting surfaces on single tool for removal of metal chips. Mentioned drilling technique is used for creating deep hole by maintaining higher dept to diameter ratio. Usually, BTA Drilling is followed when the hole dimension needs to be maximum 630 mm.
